In October 2019, PUC will accept students from Teikyo University to stay and study mainly English language in Cambodia. PUC is known as a top ten university in the region using English as a medium of instruction. Its popularity attracts many foreign students to come and learn English as a foreign language. “We appreciate your hospitality to support our delegates,” said Prof. Tadashi Kikuchi. “The PUC students who have been studying in Teikyo are active.”

It was noted in the memorandum, there would be an exchange of students between the two institutions. Since 2015, PUC has sent its students to Teikyo University for a two-year program. Next year, Japanese students will in return come to PUC for their exchange. They will not only be enhancing their English, but also doing internships, learning culture, and visiting Cambodian cultural heritage sites. “I plan to take them to Siem Reap and Kep, one of the beautiful beaches in Cambodia,” noted Dr. Kol Pheng, PUC President and the founding father.

According to the meeting, students from Teikyo University will begin in October and stay until March 2019. The top 5 among the best 20 selected will come to PUC.

Dr. Kol remarked that those who come would have a memorable stay in Cambodia.
