Two delegates from Chiang Mai University (CMU) of Thailand visited Paññāsāstra University of Cambodia (PUC) to discuss possible cooperation between the two institutions, mainly joint degrees; academic, students, faculty members’ exchange; and research.
Dr. Sam-Ang Sam, Chancellor,welcomed the visit of the delegates. Then, he briefly introduced PUC and its existing programs. The academic major which interested the Thai counterpart was the science program specifically Information Technology, animation and gaming, and software engineering.
Dr. Raymond Leos, Dean, Faculty of Communications and Media Arts wished to have broader cooperation, especially in the field of advertising and public relations, as many graduates from those majors get excellent jobs after their graduation.
The two institutions thanked each other. They will look for more areas in which to collaborate.
