Two delegates of University of Hradec Kralove (UHK), Dr. Daniel Vrabcova, Vice dean of International Affairs of the faculty of Education and Dr. Martin Skutil, Institute of Primary and Preschool Education, Faculty of Education visited Paññāsāstra University of Cambodia (PUC) to discuss prospective ways of cooperation between the two universities mainly on student and staff exchange, internship programs, community service learning and collaborative research.

To begin with Dr. Sin Meng Srun, Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs welcomed the delegates of UHK. He wishes to see agreement came soon. Dr. Sok Uttara, Dean, Faculty of Education preferred to have students exchange for a short period of time ranged from 1 to 2 months. “Because students lack of financial support, it would be much better to have partial funding”, said Dr. Uttara.

In reply Dr. Daniel agreed to find the aids, but she needed to know the number of students exchange and the major so that the two parties can have a mutual understanding. “It is a good idea to have a limit students exchange before continuing to academic and staff exchange,” Dr. Daniel added “there is a possibility to have collaborative research in assessment and evaluation of higher education if PUC expects to have it.”

The above meeting comes to active after an agreement has been made. It is expected to work on October 2017.
