On March 15, 2016, Paññāsāstra University of Cambodia (PUC) hosted a delegate from the Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research (IGSNRR), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), here to investigate the possibility of cooperation between the two institutions.

Both universities intend to work on research, exchange, and degree programs, starting with the Bachelor’s degree. CAS is willing to provide numerous scholarships to PUC students who are interested in studying in China, in the areas geography, ecology, environmental Science and engineering, agricultural economics, and management.

IGSNRR is a multidisciplinary research institute, established in 1999. It is very active in international and domestic cooperation and communication. The institute has international cooperation agreements with more than 50 countries so far.
