With the wholehearted love and preserving work of Khmer drama, On October 24, Paññāsāstra Student Senate (PASS) organized an event to inform and to support Khmer drama to alive.
There were hundreds of participants including professors, students, singers, actors, and models. It is honored to have the presence of Her Excellency, Phoeurng Sackona, Minister of the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts. Her Excellency addressed in her opening remark that loving is not a day, but a forever preserve. Knowing the root and being able to challenge are two factors to win. It is like Cambodian culture which is well-known worldwide because of maintaining and developing. Our identity sets who we are and how to develop ourselves to the globe.
Money received from the ticket sold were granted to the school of fine arts in order to support teachers and students who are currently in the school and it also helps to buy materials needs for training.
In that occasion, the ministry of Culture and Fine Arts contributed one million to the foundation.
