Under the supervision of Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management and Entrepreneurship, a remarkable event was organized. Green Tourism Fair, an environmental event of the year was celebrated on September 27, 2015.

“Green is not just a color, but the meaning of preserving and conserving the nature in many acts including using water, food and other consumptions with the care of environmental health together with good service providing in all types,” His Excellency Dr. Thong Khon addressed in his opening speech.

This was a second promotion green tourism conducted at Paññāsāstra University of Cambodia (PUC). This year topic is Entrepreneurs in Tourism. More than ten stores were installed in order to present their products and services to the customers on the big day of Green Tourism. Those are from local entrepreneurs.

Hundreds of people including students, professors, faculty members and other entrepreneurs attended the events. It was very fruitful to listen to all those guest speakers sharing their experiences. “Tourism is a way of marketing country. There are plenty of jobs waiting for you; especially when you know your skill very well,” said Mr. Luu Meng, Chairman of Euro Cham Tourism Committee and President of the Executive Committee of the Cambodia Hotel Association.

“We are proud to have your support in organizing this event happened,” said Dr. Kol Pheng, PUC Founder and President in his closing remark.
