On December 22, 2014, Dr. Alison Ung of the School of Chemistry and Forensic Science from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), Australia visited Paññāsāstra University of Cambodia (PUC) to discuss the possibility of cooperation and joint research projects between the two universities.
The University of Technology Sydney and PUC will sign a Memorandum of Understanding in the near future.
UTS is a leading technology university in Australia with a strong research record. Students who are learning at the university have good study experiences since the courses are based on practice in world class facilities equipped for student research.
Dr. Kol Pheng, PUC founder and President, is enthusiastic about the delegate visit. “It is our great pleasure to have you visit today. We are looking forward to having you visit again soon; especially, after the Memorandum of Understanding is signed.”
In reply to the president’s address, Dr. Alison Ung showed her willingness to work with PUC. “After my observation in PUC, I find that the university has a good educational system and the students are well trained, which enables the two universities to work together well.”
