The goal of the workshop was to help library staff to provide quality library services to support academic programs in human rights in Cambodia. It was organized by the Raoul Wallenberg Institute (RWI)  and Pannasastra University of Cambodia (PUC), with support from Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida).

 Seventeen participants from eight higher education institutions attended the workshop. The eight institutions included: Cambodian Mekong University, Cambodian University for Specialty, Norton University, National University of Management, Phnom Penh International University, Pannasastra University, Royal Academy for Judicial Profession, and the Royal University of Law and Economics.

 It was a very productive workshop. The participants were actively engaged in the discussions and group work. They were enthusiastic with their new knowledge, and expressed a commitment to improve their respective libraries when they returned to their work place.
