Recently 28 Cambodian youth from SSEAYP came to PUC to show their dynamic experience, successes, and leadership skills. “A good leader empowers group members to achieve success. Whether or not the leader is present, group members can continuously work successfully”, said Dr. Kol Pheng, PUC founder.
According to the Lord Buddha three virtues, dharma, loving kindness, and legacy can bring success to life: being grateful, truthful, and patient.
SSEAYP (Ship for South East Asian Youth Program) was established in January 1974. It promotes mutual understanding among the youth of Japan and the ten ASEAN countries. Every year 28 international youth and one leader are selected to join the program.
SSEAYP International Cambodia is an alumni association of past participants, and was established in 2004 So far SSEAYP has 644 members in Cambodia. Members try to do their best to spread Khmer traditional culture. It is proud and honored to represent Cambodia on the international stage.
