It was a deepest sorrow, pain and sadness that Dr. Sam Sok, Professor and former interim member of PUC’s Board of Trustees passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2013 at 2 a.m. in a hospital in Paris, France.
All PUC members of the Board of Trustees, Leadership Team, Deans, Faculty and Staffs together with Dr. Sam Sok’s family celebrated his seventh day death on Friday, July 12, 2013 at Choun Nath Hall of PUC South campus in order to commemorate a requiem for the repose of his soul.
Dr. Sam was a good husband and father to his family. He was also a good mutual friend with Dr. Kol, and a good citizen to the country. When he was alive, he performed many good works, including teaching and writing books. He needed less, but he worked hard. He was a good role model for us.
“We express our heartfelt condolences to the grieving family for the great loss they have suffered”, said Dr. Kol, PUC President. “Let us pray to the almighty Buddha to guide him to rest in peace in his heavenly abode and to give his family and loved ones all strength and courage to overcome this great loss”, added Dr. Kol.
