“Doing what you can do now . Don’t expect too much work at the same time. It is like helping a starfish to survive again. Try to do what you can . Donation is not much to everyone . Start doing from small to the big things.”, noted Dr. Kol Pheng, PUC founder.
On June 23 Dr. Kol attended a charity event called “We are for Kantha Bopha”. The purpose of the event was to collect money to help the poor and vulnerable who receive treatment at Kantha Bopha hospital.
PUC also has a volunteer team working for the public, called Model Teen. It was created one year ago for social work, such as helping the old, the poor, the sick and other people in need, by selling Khmer products and other study materials.
PUC students who participate in this activity is not only develop skills, expertise, and professionalism but also build their character and mind set. “Don’t harm others and don’t take from others. Spend time in the right way with your self discipline. I congratulate for all your noble work,” said Dr. Kol in his closing remarks.
