Bridgewater State University (BSU), USA and Paññāsāstra University of Cambodia (PUC) have signed an Addendum to the Memorandum of Understanding since 2012, for international cooperation, particularly focusing on student/staff/ faculty exchange and joint research as well as dual degree program.
PUC now offers Partial Scholarships for outstanding PUC students in all majors to study at BSU in Massachusetts, USA, 2015 – 2016 academic years.
1. Bachelor of Arts or Sciences Programs
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Full-time, at least completing foundation year students in the Bachelor’s Degree Program in any Major
- Cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 or higher
- IELTS English proficiency Exam 6.0; or TOEFL 61 (Internet-based Test), 173 (Computer- based Test), and 500 (Paper-based Test)
- Computer literacy ability
- Strong interpersonal skills
- PUC’s current transcript of record
- Two current passport- photos (sizes (4 x 6))
- Recommendation from academic professors and deans
- Active in PUC student government or Community involvement and volunteerism
2. Master of Arts or Science Programs
Qualifications & Requirements:
- IELTS English proficiency Exam 6.0; or TOEFL 79 (Internet-based Test), 213 (Computer- based Test), and 550 (Paper-based Test)
- Computer literacy ability
- Strong interpersonal skills
- PUC’s current transcript of record
- Two current passport- photos (sizes (4 x 6))
- Recommendation from academic professors and deans
- Active in PUC student government or community involvement and volunteerism
Students who have interested in this program should contact ISP Office in order to enroll in IELT preparation. The IELT Preparation will be conducted by PUC, starting at the end of January, 2015
How to Apply:
Interested PUC students must:
- Fill out the BSU application form, available at PUC International Study Program (ISP) Office
- Submit a copy of complete updated CV and Cover Letter (Educational background, work experience and work position if available)
- Write a Personal Statement stating the reason for applying for that scholarship program
- Write Family Profile to justify family income
- Send both hard and soft copy of the application and relevant documents to ISP Office
Deadline:
Application form and other pertinent documents must reach ISP Office by the end of January, 2015
